Why R10
A million small bets
beat one big one.
Always have.

R10 is the point of the whole thing. Not R100, not R1,000. Ten rand. A price a spaza shop owner in Delft can spend without thinking, and a Sandton lawyer can spend without noticing.

What we're building is a wall made of a million small acts of belief. A record, in pixels, of every South African business that showed up. The bakery in Bloem. The panelbeater in PE. The AI startup in Woodstock. The freelance graphic designer working from her mom's dining room in Mahikeng.

When the wall fills up ~ and it will ~ it becomes something no ad platform can sell you: attention that lasts. No algorithm. No auction. Just your block, in its exact spot, in front of everyone who ever loads the page.

Ten rand for one square. One shot at the wall. That's it. That's the whole idea.

Questions

The fine print, in plain English.

Is this actually R10 forever?

Yes. One-time payment of R10 per block. No renewals, no subscription, no "premium tier" that suddenly costs more. As long as theaudacity.co.za is online, your block stays lit.

What can I put on a block?

Your brand name (up to 40 characters), your domain (people click through to it in a new tab), a fallback colour, and your logo (PNG, JPG, SVG or WebP, up to 2MB). The logo shows the moment someone zooms in on your patch. Anything hateful, illegal, or harmful gets refunded and removed ~ we're the ones with our name on the domain.

How small can my logo actually go?

Every block is 1/1,000,000 of the wall, so a single block is tiny at the default view. That's the point of the zoom. From ten blocks up, a logo reads clearly. A hundred blocks and it's a real ad. A thousand blocks and it's a billboard. Same R10 per square either way.

How does the payment actually work?

When you click Pay, we generate a secure South African checkout for that specific block. You can pay by card, Instant EFT, SnapScan, or Masterpass. The payment is confirmed the moment it clears, and your block goes live within seconds.

Can I buy more than one block?

Yes ~ drag out a rectangle to claim a bigger space. Ten blocks is R100, a hundred blocks is R1,000. A 100×100 corner of the wall costs R100,000. First come, first served.

Who's behind this?

A South African, doing a South African thing. This is a small independent project, not a fund or a company you've heard of. The audacity is the whole point.

What if not all million blocks sell?

Then the wall is exactly as full as it deserves to be. Every block that sold is still there, still linked, still visible. There's no failure state ~ this is a permanent public record of everyone who took the swing.
